ROME (ITALPRESS) – The famous 1950, one of the masterpieces of Amedeo Minghi and of Italian author music, obtains the Gold Record certification (online singles section) from FIMI in week #24. An important and significant milestone for 1950 (La Sanbiagio Produzioni / Nar International) and the now legendary Serenella, the most poetic and evocative work, with poignant melody, with which Minghi was able to masterfully paint – together with Gaio Chiocchio – the moment of transition of our country from the suffering of war to the joy of liberation and the hope of a new life. The Roman artist recently concluded a theatrical tour celebrating the song, in which he placed ‘his’ love story with music at the center of the narrative, the refinedly beautiful Serenella which represents him more than any of his other songs and with which he managed to imprint in the collective memory an Italy between war and rebirth. From 6 July Amedeo Minghi will be busy on the summer tour, and in autumn he will return, after 8 years of recording absence, with a brand new album of unreleased songs entitled “Anima Sbiadita”.
