He couldn’t handle the death of his girlfriend, Lorenzo Lazzari, 22, and also took his own life. Her partner, Elisa Stirpe, 16 years old, from Veroli, decided to end it a few days earlier, on June 4th. Lorenzo was originally from Alatri, in the Frusinate area. And it is yet another case of suicide, of which there have already been 22 in the province this year alone, nine in May alone, the majority involving young people between 16 and 30 years old. Lorenzo, after accompanying his brother home, went out for a walk. But he never returned to his home in Tecchiena di Alatri, to his grandparents. The alarmed parents raised the alarm. The young man’s body was found this morning in an isolated house in the countryside. He decided to leave this world in the same way his Elisa left. A few days ago, Il Messaggero reports, the boy wrote a dedication to his girlfriend on social media: «Have a good trip love, forever inside me. One day we’ll meet again and I’ll give you two butts for the joke you pulled, I promise.” The young man’s funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 18 June.
