The death of Giusy Levacovich, the 38-year-old mother of four children, who was found lifeless in a small Sinti settlement in Buggiano, occurred on the night between Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th June.
This is one of the details that emerged from the autopsy carried out at the Pescia hospital, an examination in which a consultant appointed by the defense lawyers of Marco Satori, the 43-year-old partner of the woman, under investigation for the murder, was also present.
The investigators’ investigations were directed from the early stages towards the murder, due to signs found around the woman’s neck, which would be followed by an attempt to stage a suicide; further details on what happened could therefore come from analyzes of the samples collected during the autopsy, in search of any traces of DNA.
The man, who made himself available to the investigators and by whom he had been interviewed in recent days as a person informed of the facts, declared himself innocent.
“The truth in my opinion will come out – said one of the man’s two lawyers, the lawyer Stefano Camerini – also from the analysis of the cell phones of the girl and her husband, because from there the contacts of that night will be understood , what they said to each other, where they were”.
