SAN NICOLÓ BRIDGE (PADUA) – An omitted precedence could be at the origin of the accident that caused the death of Pierpaolo Salmaso, a 43-year-old father, resident in Ponte San Nicolò. The conditional sentence remains mandatory even if this is what emerges from the first investigations of the local city police on the tragedy that occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday along the ring road, in the stretch called Corso Argentina. The 43-year-old was proceeding on his Aprilia, towards Padova Est, immediately after the Corso Uniti junction. He was traveling at high speed. He may have only noticed at the last moment that the Audi driven by GM, 53 years old, resident in the province of Venice, entered the ring road. The car may have crossed the path of the centaur. The two vehicles, which were proceeding in the same direction, collided. Salmaso would not have been able to avoid the tragic impact and would have lost control of the motorcycle, flying onto the asphalt a few dozen meters away from the scene of the accident.
