Rosolen, 400 thousand euros from the Region for research grants

Trieste, 17 June – The resources allocated by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and equally distributed between the Universities of Trieste and Udine for research projects in the humanities and social sciences sectors amount to 400 thousand euros.

“The regional administration continues to invest in talent and promote the national and international visibility of its university system, encouraging the development of human capital and its employability”, declared the regional university councilor Alessia Rosolen, commenting on the measure.

“The future of our territory also lies in the ability to face the challenges that await us and to invest in our scientific system by strengthening the connection between universities, research bodies and businesses – highlighted Rosolen -. With these resources we intend to support the talent of our students, promoting concrete development and learning opportunities for them”.

All researchers aged no more than 40 years, resident or present for study or work reasons in Friuli Venezia Giulia, will be able to request the research grant from the two universities, via a notice issued by November 2024.

The selections for the assignment of research grants will be made directly by the universities that receive the resources for their financing from the Region. The research projects, eight for each university, will last between 12 and 36 months and must refer to specific areas identified by the universities. ARC/COM/ma
