Mercogliano
Amos Partenio played and won at home. In fact, many people who yesterday joined the pink prevention clinics that stopped in the municipality of Mercogliano. At the headquarters of the diocesan Caritas in via Matteotti, dozens of women and men were welcomed who underwent free visits, carried out by specialists Carlo Iannace for breast surgery, Michele Capozzi for breast ultrasounds, Maria Assunta Baldassarre for dermatology.
The path of prevention continues with excellent results. In fact, more and more people are joining Amos Partenio’s initiatives and many have already purchased the kit for the tenth pink walk on 8 September, the great event to raise awareness of the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
The Amos Partenio association, led by Carlo Iannace and president Carmelina Di Grezia, thanks all those who took part in yesterday afternoon’s clinics, in particular to the medical specialists who donate their time and their precious work voluntarily and free of charge to the many patients who believe in prevention.
Thanks also go to my friend Giuseppina Piccaresponsible for the Mercogliano branch of the diocesan Caritas, for hospitality and welcome, to the municipal administration of Mercogliano for patronage and to the mayor Vittorio D’Alessio for the greetings received during the afternoon in pink. A special thank you as always to the many volunteers who tirelessly dedicate time and smiles to the participants and to the girls of the welcoming community association for having joyfully participated in the initiative accompanied by the president Letizia Monaco.
