Orders have recently opened to purchase the new one Opel Frontera. Opel’s latest effort was shown two months ago, in April, with the first official images, and it can now finally be ordered. The B-segment crossover of the Lightning starts from a base price of 24,500 euros in the mild hybrid version and is offered in a package that we would say is complete. At the same time the variant is also available 100% electric what it costs 29,900 euros with a 44 kWh battery and a range of over 300 km. You can purchase both models with government incentives.
Opel Frontera: prices, engines and trim levels
Speaking of enginesthe new Frontera uses a 1.2 three-cylinder mild hybrid petrol turbo with 100 HP, which is combined with a 28 HP electric motor and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Frontera 1.2 mild hybrid will also be available soon 136 HP. The full electric version has a113 HP unit which is located on the front axle. The declared autonomy is around 300 kmwhile at a later time the Long Range version will be available which can even travel 400kmalways in the WLTP cycle.
The Opel Frontera is offered in two versions, called respectively Frontera and Frontera GS, the latter with a surcharge of 2,000 euros. Both trims are included packages and there is no possibility of adding options, apart from the body color. The basic model has a simpler look, even if the equipment already includes the dual 10-inch display, the rear-view camera, the navigator and integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. What’s different about the GS version is the contrasting black roof, specific alloy wheels, roof bars, automatic climate control and heated seats.
