Galaxy Z Flip 6 expect a price increase; new details on some hardware specifications

According to recent rumors this is the US price of the next Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 along with some details on the hardware specifications.

We had already informed you in a previous post that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will probably be more expensive than the current Galaxy Z Fold 5, and today there are also some news for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Price increasing?

Well, Samsung’s next foldable smartphone with a clamshell form factor should cost $100 more than the Z Flip 5 model.

According to leaked information, the basic model with 256GB of internal memory will cost 1099.99 dollars in the USA while the 512GB version will go to 1219.99 euros.

We will have to see if this alleged price increase in the USA will have repercussions for the final price in Europe: in this case we can expect a price increase of even more than 100 euros in Italy.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 Hardware Section: the news leaked

As regards the latest news on the hardware sector of the Z Flip 6, there are some technical details on the displays, cameras, chipset and connectivity.

From what has been leaked, the internal display of the foldable will be a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel (open) with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 (FHD+) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The external display instead will be a Super Amoled panel with native resolution 720 x 748 pixels which should have dimensions equal to 3.4 inches.

At least in the USA (but we don’t know in Europe) the Z Flip 6 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset for Galaxy.

A chat about the rear photographic compartment.

The use of a new photographic sensor for the main camera is expected, a 50MP f/1.8 PDAF lens which could be the same one used on the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus.

The 12MP Ultra Wide Angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture already seen on the Z Flip 5 would remain unchanged.

Nothing new in the front photographic sector either, with the same 10MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and without autofocus.

The Z Flip 6 is expected to be able to record videos in 4K at 60 fps.

As for connectivity, there will be support for dual sim 5G connection with 14 5G bands.

The Wi-Fi will be 6E (no Wi-Fi 7 therefore), support for Bluetooth 5.3 and the 3.1 USB Type C port which also has video output.

There will be GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo for localization and the NFC chipset.

Obviously considering that Samsung has not yet made anything official, please take all this information with the right emotional detachment.
