A benefit concert, inspired by “Libera nos a malo” by Luigi Meneghello, in favor of children with special needs. The Libera Scuola Waldorf Sole d’Oro of Thiene proposes it on Friday 28 June at 9pm, at the Teatro Comunale of Thiene.
The show, entitled “Invention for two voices” and suitable for an adult audience, will feature on stage the singer-songwriter Patrizia Laquidara and the linguist and scholar of Meneghello’s works Luciano Zampese, who will read, tell and sing, precisely, “Libera nos badly.”
The two artists will lead the public into a “world where a language is spoken that is not written”, where the spectator will have an opportunity to think back to their childhood, to find within themselves the soundtrack of their first life. An invitation to listen, a show with eyes closed or half-closed, through the sounds, rhythms, voices that inhabit and make Luigi Meneghello’s writing alive. An evening that will lead to reflection on the value of the harmonious understanding that is generated between children and their teachers, with a language that is not written, but opens infinite spaces to the development of the life of the soul.
The project “The care that accompanies, the heat that nourishes” “Invention of two voices” will be in support of “The care that accompanies, the heat that nourishes”, a healing pedagogy project within the Sole d’Oro Association APS for Waldorf Pedagogy – ETS aimed at children with special needs. These children, who present difficulties both in teaching and in the development of the life of the soul, find, thanks to
Steinerian healing pedagogy practiced at the Sole d’Oro school in Thiene, their true place within the classroom together with their classmates, with a view that includes both the well-being of the individual and of the entire community.
The pedagogues, through careful and loving observation, build a deep relationship with the children, personalizing different paths, attentive to individual particularities. Only in this way, through sincere encounters, is it possible to create the conditions for children to gain experience and experience the value of themselves and their lives. In order to accompany children with special needs, the Sole d’Oro Association supports capable and trained teachers, who offer the right support continuously over time.

It is already possible to donate, through the “Rete del dono” portal, at www.retedeldono.it/progetto/la-cura-che-accompagna.

The artists
Sicilian by birth and Venetian by adoption, Patrizia Laquidara is one of the most elusive, multifaceted and brilliant figures of authorial music. She is defined by critics as “a signature so personal as to be unique”, “an artist capable of absolute credibility” and “one of the most intense and lyrical voices of our so-called light music”.
A passionate reader of Meneghello’s work, Luciano Zampese has been one of his most prolific and insightful scholars for about twenty years. He is a teacher of Latin and Greek at the classical high school, a linguistics teacher at the University of Geneva and a researcher within the Swiss National Fund.
