Another fatal accident on the roads of Bologna, this time in Medicine. Elena Lavinia Iordache, 35 years old, originally from Budrio, lost her life. The young woman ran off the road with her car on Saturday evening in via San Salvatore 1545, not far from the Trasversale di Pianura which connects the municipalities of Budrio and Medicina and on which, two hours earlier, another accident occurred involving two cars. Iordache’s car left the roadway and crashed into the wall of a private house. The woman died instantly. She leaves behind a young son.
The causes of the accident are still unknown, but according to the first reconstructions made by the local police of Imola it seems that the woman lost suddenly in control of the car doing everything by itself. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The emergency call came from the driver who was coming in the opposite direction and witnessed the accident. But the intervention of 118, who arrived on site with an ambulance and an ambulance, was useless and the health workers were unable to do anything other than confirm the death.
