ARCEVIA – Davide loved life and was a great boy. These are the words of the uncle of Davide Paolini, the 24-year-old from Arcevia who died following a dramatic motorcycle accident which occurred late on Saturday afternoon.
After a chilling night due to the tragedy, in the morning the uncle, the father’s brother, returned to the site of the accident to recover the pieces of his nephew’s motorbike which had crashed into the guardrail in Cave, in the hamlet of Santa Croce di Arcevia.
Following a sudden skid, for reasons still under investigation, the young centaur ended up first against the guardrail and then off the road, with devastating consequences, resulting in his immediate death.
Passing motorists immediately contacted 112 and Icaro was made to stand up from the Fabriano lay-by. A flight which, however, was canceled immediately afterwards, because unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for the young man.
The Arcevia carabinieri intervened on site to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident, although it would appear that Davide did everything alone and other vehicles were not involved.
On Sunday morning many local people came to the site of the tragedy to say a prayer and see for themselves what happened. Davide’s friends also arrived and placed a bouquet of flowers right on the spot where the boy violently hit and unfortunately died instantly.
We spoke with friends who, due to the extreme pain, were unable to give a statement in front of the camera. They told us that Davide was an extraordinary person, who loved to dream and who they will never forget for all the beautiful things and wonderful qualities that he brought out during his short life.
For the community of Arcevia, where the young man lived after being born in Senigallia, an incredible shock. Davide worked as an employee at the Loccioni group in Rosora, while his father is a well-known person as a brigadier of the forestry carabinieri of Sassoferrato.
For Davide, motorbikes were a great passion, he shared his videos on social media and had also taken a sports riding course.
