Toprak Razgatlioglu completes the hat trick in Misano; the Turk also wins Race-2 ahead of the two Ducatis of Bulega and Alvaro Bautista, on the podium after starting 11th.

Toprak Razgatlioglu also wins Race-2 in Misano with an advantage of over 4 seconds over second-placed Nicolò Bulega and even over 10 seconds over the third-place finisher, the reigning world champion Alvaro Bautista, who after the crash in the Superpole Race was forced to recover from 11th place. A race that saw Bulega start in the lead trying to pull away as much as possible on the Turk, but the Italian’s plan came to an end after less than 8 laps, when Toprak decided to pass and say goodbye to Bulega definitively to go to completing a historic weekend for both BMW and him, who was missing the hat-trick from the 2022 Indonesian Grand Prix.

Alex Lowes concludes at the foot of the podium, confirming herself as the best Kawasaki on the grid, with Axel Bassani crossing the finish line in 7th position after an excellent race, which we hadn’t seen from him for a long time. Fantastic too Andrea Locatelli (5th) and Danilo Petrucci (6th), with the latter managing to tackle an entire race weekend despite the various physical problems due to the injury he suffered in motocross. Unfortunately, Andrea Iannone did poorly, finishing only in 11th position after a wild battle with his Go Eleven team Ducati, who really didn’t want to know that he was performing at his best at Misano, creating many problems for the former MotoGP rider.

THE FLOPS

Weekend to forget for both Jonathan Rea (10th in Race-2) and Michael Ruben Rinaldi (16th in Race-2 after a fall in the first corners). Both have decided to embark on a new path in teams completely different from their past, but given the current results, it doesn’t seem like they made the right choice. Another big disappointment is certainly Michael Van Der Mark, who after the bad performance in Race-1 was forced to retire due to a technical problem in Race-2, a huge difference compared to his teammate who won them all.
