“We love you dad.” In their first post on social media, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis wanted to pay homage to their father, Prince William, for Father’s Day which is celebrated today in the United Kingdom. The BBC reports it.
The post reads: “We love you dad. Happy Father’s Day,” followed by two red hearts and signed “G, C & L” with a photo of William and his three children. In the shot, taken by his wife Kate, Princess of Wales, her husband is standing on a beach hugging his three children as they look at the sea.
Kensington Palace said the photo was taken last month during a trip to the Norfolk coast.
William also wanted to pay homage to his father, King Charles III, and published a photo from the family archive: the prince shared on Instagram a photo of himself as a child, taken in 1984, while playing football with the king in the gardens of Kensington Palace. “Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W,” reads the post accompanying the photo.
