Mayor Meldola also attended the celebration

The mayor of Meldola, Roberto Cavallucci, also participated, together with the Civil Protection of Meldola, in the “A day to say thank you” initiative promoted in Faenza by the Emilia-Romagna Region one year after the flood that hit our territory. During the morning, over two thousand people, including the Region, the mayors of the affected territories, the Civil Protection operators and also all the people who arrived from abroad met in Faenza, at the Pala Cattani, for the General States of Protection Regional civil.

“It was an important opportunity for discussion and reflection, which allows us to keep our attention high on the drama experienced by our territory with the awareness that much still remains to be done – states Cavallucci -. We greeted Irene Priolo, vice president of the Emilia-Romagna Region with responsibility for Civil Protection and the managers of the Agency for Territorial Security and Civil Protection of Forlì. Once again I would like to thank our Civil Protection, led by President Gabriele Buono, for the important work carried out in Meldola without sparing any effort and to all those who, with generosity and altruism, helped in that difficult moment. Without everyone’s help we wouldn’t have made it.”
