A bet won last night in Lamezia Terme by Dr. Anna Paola Cavalieri, an illustrious gynecologist from Lamezia, Lucia Cittadino and the Lamezia Library System
Being able to talk, in a room full of people about a topic like menopause, still taboo for many women, and listening without hesitation to the many questions coming from the public, is certainly symptomatic of a need, now undeferrable, of women to discuss and take care of their needs.
This is the message launched by Anna Paola Cavalieri with her book “Without fear of changing”.
Focus on ourselves, carve out time for our interests, learn to listen to our needs, be indulgent with our frailties and do everything to ensure that the years following menopause are characterized by good health, a healthy lifestyle and lots of awareness of the value that every woman possesses.
Lamezia literally overwhelmed her fellow citizen with affection, giving her the right recognition; heartfelt thanks also came from the Mayor, Paolo Mascaro, who conveyed greetings from the whole city.
“I like talking about women and to women, and with meetings like these you can create that alchemy and empathy that is often missing between us. I am truly happy with the success of this meeting and many others are already in the pipeline.”
