A gray cloud worried the people of Mass yesterday morning, all looking towards the sky, all curious, hoping to understand where that tongue that extended from the ground into the sky came from. The firefighters intervened in the central Viale Roma to quell a fire that was initially thought to be very serious.
Near the former Sensi garden, a shack located behind a house that once had an armory on the ground floor caught fire. According to a first summary reconstruction, now being examined by the firefighters called to clarify what happened, it seems that the wooden shack was inhabited illegally by some people and, while they were preparing lunch, something caught fire, and then spread throughout the shack.
The phone call to the provincial command came late in the morning, the firefighters arrived after a few minutes and began to put out the flames that were destroying the internal part of the makeshift bed. According to the reconstruction, no people were affected by the fire. In concert, while the firefighters were operating inside the affected perimeter, outside, the municipal police command sent some officers to direct the traffic, which had temporarily gone haywire, given the many onlookers who had stopped to understand what was happening before their eyes. Ten LPG cylinders were also found inside, used by the occupants for cooking.
