Thirteen voluntary associations, three public bodies, six companies and many private citizens. It is a small but great army with a heart of gold, the one that has mobilized in Colle to raise funds for solidarity purposes, in favor of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. A heart of gold capable of involving an entire city in the mission, whose generosity went beyond even the most rosy predictions by raising more than 5,000 euros for the ‘Beyond the Mirror’ initiative, promoted by the Public Assistance of the Senese and Valdelsa areas , aimed at the purchase of a cryotherapy cooling helmet for the reduction of hair loss in cancer patients, in favor of the medical oncology department of the Siena hospital. Many initiatives were put in place by the small army to achieve the goal, but one above all determined the success of the operation, the great ‘Vicini’ event which took place last May 25th in Piazza Unità dei Popoli and at the Teatro del Popolo .
