Conclusion in style last night at 9pm of the Diocesan Festival of Sacred Music, in the elegant setting of the Central Collegiate Church in Corso Don Minzoni.

The final evening arrives after various stops in recent weeks in all the municipalities of the Diocese of Albano, around 15, all with a full house and appreciation from the public for the quality of the music, the lyrical singing and the direction by maestro Francesco Maria Silvagni, among other things from Castelli Romani, native and resident of Marino.

There were many illustrious guests at last night’s concert entitled “MUSICAL FLOWERS FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE”. Held for about two hours in front of the altar of the Genzanese Collegiate Church, with the bishop of Albano Monsignor Vincenzo Viva as the first guest sitting in front of the teachers, musicians and singers.

A very large orchestra, with all the musical instruments, the double choir and the performances of the opera singers Hyunye Kim (Soprano), Maria Ratkova Tedeschi (Soprano), Matteo Sartini (Tenor), Ferruccio Sinetti (Bass), direction of the Giovanni Mirabile Choir .

The artistic direction of the Diocesan Festival of Sacred Music was by maestro Enrico Celani, with the patronage and contribution of the BCC Colli Albani Foundation, the Lazio Regional Council, the Municipality of Genzano and the relevant embassies mentioned above, with particular interest and collaboration for the yesterday evening of the Ukrainian Embassy in Italy and at the Holy See.

The communication of the event and the presentation of the evening was masterfully handled as always by the journalist and event curator Dina Tomezzoli, who at the end of the evening, together with bishop Vincenzo Viva, thanked all the guests present, the large audience, the musicians and opera singers of the European Philharmonic Academy who, in addition to last night in Genzano, held various concerts in the churches of the Municipalities of Castelli, Roman Coast and Aprilia, which fall within the territory of the Suburbicarian Diocese of Albano.
