CATANIA – AND Alexander Milicijust 22 years old, theyet another road fatality in Sicily. The young man lost his life yesterday, in a road accident which occurred in via Pantanoin the industrial area of Belpasso.
Alessandro was traveling on a motorbike – one Honda Shadow – when he collided with a car, one Volkswagen Golf driven by a 31-year-old local. She had just finished his shift in one of the shops of Etnapolis shopping center and was returning home. The frontal impact with the car was very violent, so much so that Alessandro died instantly. The intervention on site was of no avail 118 health workers that they could only declare the centaur’s death And rescue and transfer the boy who was driving the car to the emergency room of the Santissimo Salvatore hospital in Paternò. The latter it was subjected to tests to detect whether he was drunk and/or drugged while driving.
THE reliefs of the accident are in the hands of carabinieri of the local station, who also attended firefighters of the Paternò Detachment.
The magistrate on duty of the Court of Catania has ordered the seizure of the two vehicles involvedWhile Alessandro’s body was transported to the Polyclinic morgue Etna, waiting to be returned to her family for a final farewell.
