Yesterday interrogation in San Vittore prison for Errichiello

Yesterday morning in the San Vittore prison in Milan, the interrogation took place before the preliminary hearing judge for Ivan Errichiello, the luxury watch dealer known on social media as Ivan Szydlik arrested by the Verbania financial police as part of an investigation of the Milan prosecutor’s office for aggravated fraud, self-laundering and financial abuse.

During the interrogation under investigation, Errichiello “used the right not to answer but made relatively long spontaneous statements” and “in some way admitted the charges regarding illegal financial activity”, the police told Ansa. defense lawyer, Giampaolo Marra, who also announces that he has requested a modification of the precautionary measure and the granting of house arrest. The investigating judge reserved his discretion on the request.
The lawyer reports that, to the investigating judge Alessandra Di Fazio, Errichiello explained that financial illegality, an accusation that the Milan prosecutor’s office leveled against him in relation to the creation of a cryptocurrency token and the activity of offering financial products to the public, “is depended on the fact that he was absolutely unaware of the current legislation, which requires the authorization and control of Consob”.
“Errichiello sells watches, he has never dealt with financial activities with virtual currencies – added Marra -. He trusted a consultant who told him that it was not a financial activity and that as such he could carry it out without problems”.
