Finale Emilia (Modena), 14 June 2024 – Un laboratory clandestine for storage and cutting of cocaine was discovered by the Guardia di Finanza in Finale Emilia, after the firefighters had intervened due to a suspected escape of gas.

It all happened last May 2nd when i firefighters they alerted the Financiers because, upon arriving on site for the suspected gas leak, they found “micro-enclosures” in the building heat-sealed containing traces of white powder”. The search of the building, carried out by the Fiamme Gialle, led to the discovery of 14 kilos of cocainedivided into ten blocks and three bags, packaging material (including molds reproducing the logos of well-known fashion brands, used to brand different batches of drugs). Besides all this it was seized also a car and the man, a thirty-year-old Albanian, who had access to the property, was arrested.

The thirty-year-old had arrived on site during the search and had tried to walk away without attracting attention, but it was immediately blocked and arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. The arrest, the Prosecutor’s Office finally announced, was then validated by the Modenese investigating judge, who ordered the suspect to be arrested. precautionary measure of “house arrest in a location other than where the drugs were found”.
