The round table we attended today, at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, determined possible innovations that we recorded with moderate satisfaction, waiting for the promises to be followed by concrete facts.

The Government, represented by the lawyer. Amedeo Teti, Head of the Department for Business Policies, illustrated four projects relating to as many investments that could materialise: Scandiuzzi, a metalworking and construction company, ACT Blade for the production of innovative wind turbines, Greenthesis Group on the recycling of disused wind turbines , Grimaldi for logistics.

Other commitments undertaken, before the next meeting which will take place in Brindisi, shortly, are those regarding the training needs of the aforementioned companies, through the President of the task force regional.

Meanwhile, Confindustria will verify further expressions of interest for other investments.

Furthermore, the Government, together with Enel and Mase, will verify the timing of the decommissioning of the power plant and will verify with Terna the essentiality of the power plant following the reopening of the proceedings on the capacity market and in response to our request that the conversion to gas be rethought or the current production process maintained, to avoid a very heavy loss of jobs

Furthermore: two tables will be activated, one for Chemistry and one for Aerospace and an examination of the areas falling within the Sin zone will be carried out as the current perimeter is a limit for new industrial investments.

As soon as all these checks are ready, we will proceed to create the structure for the Program Agreement.
