The German adventure of Luciano Spalletti’s Italy officially began yesterday afternoon around 6pm. After the last training session in Coverciano together with Empoli Under 17, the national team reached Iserlohn, the town in the Rhineland with around 90 thousand inhabitants which will host the Azzurri for the entire period of the competition. The national team will stay at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten and will train starting at the Hemberg stadium which only this afternoon, on the occasion of the first session, will also be open to the public.

The inauguration of Casa Azzurri is scheduled for the evening, the meeting point for fans, journalists and partners during the Azzurri’s German adventure set up close to the Matthias Grothe Halle (the city sports hall). The ceremony will begin at 7.00 pm and will be held in the presence of the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, the president of the Football Federation, Gabriele Gravina, the Italian ambassador to Germany, Armando Varricchio, the Mayor of Iserlohn, Michael Joithe and the national team completely Italian.

City in North Rhine-Westphalia in central-western Germany, Iserlohn is a city of approximately 193km2 and 91 thousand inhabitants which is located approximately 30 kilometers from Dortmund and 70 from Gelsekirchen, home of the first two matches of the Azzurri against Albania and Spain.
