A black hole? A galaxy? A cluster of stars? Thanks to NASA, you can see where Hubble was in space on your birthday!

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Hubble satellite, in search of the mysteries of the Universe, an interesting website was created a few years ago. If on the one hand the traveling satellite has allowed us to understand something more about what surrounds us, and above all that the Universe is constantly expanding, on the other hand Hubble has photographed every moment of its crazy race through the unknown. While the satellite telescope James Webb took over from Hubble to photograph the most distant areas of the Universe, Hubble’s visual legacy is immense. And here is an unusual opportunity to travel among the stars!

To celebrate little one’s birthday 11 tons, the US space agency NASA has released 366 photos of various events observed by Hubble. These photos, taken over the last 30 years, are then linked to his birthday. The site is very interesting, because it allows you to see and discover unique events.

For example, the day I was born, millions of miles away, the Sun was having one of the largest eruptions ever recorded! Not bad, right?

Or, if we select the August 15thwe find the image of the neighbor Triangulum galaxy. Star birth areas shine a deep blue throughout the galaxy, particularly in beautiful nebulae of hot gas, such as the star-forming region NGC 604.

You can also visit the official Hubble gallery, which contains several photos, including the collection of favorites. Or you can see NASA’s “Astronomy Picture of the Day” site, which lists photos taken by all of the agency’s telescopes since June 16, 1995!
