A twenty-year-old boy died hit by a car in Via Appia Nuova, in the Capannelle area of ​​Rome. The accident occurred early in the morning today, Sunday 9 June. The victim is a young man of Spanish nationality, for whom unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save his life. The local police officers of Roma Capitale were on site for the ritual investigations and to manage the traffic.

According to what has been reconstructed so far, at the time the collision occurred, it was around 4 am and the young man was walking in the street when suddenly, for reasons unknown and still being ascertained, a cara Fiat 500, it overwhelmed him in via Appia Nuova, at the intersection with via Pizzo di Calabria. The driver of the car was a twenty-two year old, who stopped to give first aid to his peer.

When the call arrived to the Single Emergency Number 112 with the urgent request for intervention for a boy whose health condition seemed desperate, the medical staff arrived on site in a few minutes in an ambulance with sirens blaring. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the young man by giving him the cardiovascular massage on site, ready to transport him to hospital as quickly as possible, if they managed to stabilize him, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save his life.

The traffic police accompanied the motorist to the San Giovanni Addolorata hospital, where he underwent the usual tests for testing for alcohol and drugs in the blood.
