Funds for participatory democracy of the Municipality of Agrigento, on 11 June at 10.30 am the Santa Sofia room of the Pirandello theater will host the presentation of the public notice which kicks off the processes for the use of the 2023 sums (almost expired) and 2024.
In the afternoon, from 6.30 pm, it will be held at “Scaro Cafè”, “near the usual meeting places of the foreign communities of Agrigento – says a note – an area where the integration of people with a migratory background is experienced daily” a second meeting.
The initiatives take place as part of the “Let’s spend them together” project, created by “Parliament watch Italia” as part of the “Let’s make change happen with the South” tender, with the support of the “Realize change” foundation, “Foundation with the South” and “ActionAid”.
“The municipal administration hopes for massive participation of citizens – underlines councilor Marco Vullo – for the construction of real processes of change and social inclusion. To achieve this objective it is essential to make the best use of the available resources but above all to do a thorough job “network”, bringing together the skills and enthusiasm of all the active forces of the territory (associations, institutions, third sector bodies, individual citizens) and of those who want to be part of real participation processes”.
