The Liguria Region gives the green light to the distribution across the territory of the 8 million euros of the Regional Fund for Social Policies scheduled for 2024.

The sum will be divided among the social territorial areas/socio-health districts present in Liguria, which will be able to use their share to invest and support all welfare areas, i.e. fight against poverty, family policies and early childhood services, protection of minors , elderly people and people with disabilities, young people, hinterland and community welfare. The measure also includes support interventions for families and the expenses of the social secretariat, i.e. the offices responsible for providing information, interventions and taking charge of vulnerable individuals. As established by the regional integrated social plan, the sums of the allocation will be assigned to the leading municipality of the socio-health district, to then be used for the benefit of all the local authorities belonging to the district of which they are part. The amount of the contribution attributed to the Districts is implemented on the basis of the criteria previously shared with the territories and still in force. The details of the funds allocated to the individual districts: for Western Tigullio 223,300 euros, for the hinterland 399,782 euros and for Eastern Tigullio 175,060 euros.
