One in two in Italy is full hybrid. A buying trend set to continue with restyling of Hyundai Tucson, which opens orders and reveals the price list.
If on a stylistic level the update has retouched an already very convincing approach, intervening on the integration between LED lights and grille, important innovations arrive on board.
Installations
The combination of instrumentation and infotainment, both 12.3 inches and in a single panel in the Supervision solution, is accompanied by connected services. OTA updates will deliver new features throughout the car’s lifecycle. Four trim levels are planned: Xtech, Business, Excellence and N Line. Four engines.
Engines, mild hybrid petrol and diesel
The positioning of the 215 horsepower 1.6-liter Hyundai Tucson full hybrid is in the heart of the range. It’s up to the 160 horsepower mild hybrid petrol version to set the attack price, at 32,850 euros. The four-wheel drive version, available starting from the Business trim level, has a price list of 37,150 euros, 1,800 more expensive than the two-wheel drive version. There is also a 136 horsepower Tucson mild hybrid diesel, offered at 38,950 euros and in Business trim.
Full hybrid two or four-wheel drive
The full hybrid is priced from 36,800 euros, 39,300 euros in Business trim and 41,800 euros for the Excellence and N Line. It is also available in a four-wheel drive version, again with a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard.
Same technical setup for the Tucson PHEV, with the difference of a larger capacity battery pack, capable of ensuring 65 km of electric range. Available only in Excellence and N Line trim, four-wheel drive only, prices start from 50,700 euros.
Equipment, Business has almost everything
The standard equipment of the various levels in which the 2024 Tucson offer is divided includes full LED headlights, 17″ wheels, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors and with rear camera in the Xtech level. Active lane keeping and 12.3-inch infotainment with navigation are other standard features.
The proposal Business adds active, anti-collision Blind Spot Monitor in addition to Smart Cruise Control and anti-collision braking at intersections. 18″ wheels, seats both adjustable in height and with lumbar support, dual-zone climate and induction charger are other features that stand out.
The top of the range Excellence shares, apart from the style, the equipment with the N Line. So, 19″ wheels, Matrix LED headlights, assisted tailgate. Up to the heated seats and steering wheel and the head up display.
