ANCONA – She was walking along Corso Mazzini when she arrived in front of a bar and saw her ex-boyfriend with another woman. This would have made a 46-year-old from Ancona lose her mind and she grabbed an ashtray and threw it at her rival, a 53-year-old. A fit of jealousy that led her to trial for aggravated injuries. But yesterday the accused was acquitted by judge Matteo Di Battista because the fact does not exist. According to her accusations, the woman, defended by the lawyer Alessandro Calogiuri, would have arrived in front of the public establishment in Corso Mazzini, where her ex and a woman, mistaken for her new partner, were sitting at a table.

An argument arose between them and ended with the 46-year-old taking the ashtray that was on the shelf to throw it at the other woman who was hit on the face. The victim, a civil party with the lawyer Raffaele Napolitano, was injured with a 5-day prognosis and had suffered a multiple contusion from a beating. A complaint was then made which ended in a trial. Yesterday a defense witness exonerated the accused. She told the court that she was the 46-year-old who was the first to be hit with a napkin holder. It was July 30, 2020. No aggression, just a heated argument.
