LANCIANO – Not only tears, water balloons and waiting for the holidays on the last day of the school year at the “D’Annunzio” secondary school in Lanciano, but also a look at the future before the last bell rings.

In the project dedicated to school orientation, in addition to contacts with the major schools in the area, this year the teachers decided to bring the students closer to the world of work also thanks to meetings with professionals in the area and this morning it was the turn of three great artists children of our land.

Speaking to the over two hundred students of “D’Annunzio” were the director Pier Luigi Di Lallo, the hair stylist Silvio Luciani and the photographer Roberto Colacioppo. The three, each in their own field, told the kids how they managed to achieve their goals, make their dreams come true and become true professionals.

Di Lallo, with the help of some slides, talked about everything that happens behind the camera and how much study and work goes into each take. It was then Silvio Luciani who captured the attention of the kids by talking about how his creative flair led him to be one of the stylists who take care of the artists’ images in Sanremo and in the biggest glamorous events in Italy. So much passion, so much dedication and so much commitment. To conclude the morning, Roberto Colacioppo who, he said, managed to become one of the most popular photographers around, from a family shop, managing to range from wedding photos to those in which he deals with social issues, with a single aim : to give emotions with its objective, only after years and years of practice and study.

In short, there is no fulfillment without study and sweat, but not even without the firm will and stubbornness to chase one’s dreams, even when everything seems lost. «This was precisely the message we wanted to get across – say the teachers coordinated by the director Anna Di Nizio -. How important it is to believe in your dreams and make sure they come true. And we are certain that this is only the first step of a longer and more timely journey to consciously bring our children closer to their future.”
