singing and piano are his passions Gazzetta di Reggio

Scandian Adele Baldassarre, the 16-year-old who died in her sleep, had lived in Scandiano for six years together with her mother Federica Zanellato and her father Rocco Baldassare. Her maternal family is originally from Polesine Camerini, in the Porto Tolle area, in the province of Rovigo, where she is well known. She was born there and spent the first ten years of her life. Subsequently, the family moved due to a change of job of her mother, who began teaching in primary schools in the Reggio area after having managed a newsstand for a long time. Her husband Antonio, a pizza chef and chef, found work in premises in the ceramic district.

Adele attended middle school in Scandiano, then chose to continue her education at the Sigonio high school in Modena. She made the commitment to reach Modena every day; not a comfortable choice, but strongly desired to follow his passion for singing and piano, always at the center of his life. A family passion, given that Uncle Riccardo is a tenor known throughout the world.

The 16-year-old, who recently seemed to be suffering from fatigue, had gone to bed rather early, perhaps due to the tiredness he felt. Her parents discovered her death when they entered her room in the morning, because they had not seen her get up at the usual time. They immediately notified the emergency services, but there was nothing they could do other than confirm his death. At the moment, the judiciary’s desire to have an autopsy carried out seems confirmed.

The student had just published the first single “Marilù” on the theme of gender violence, entirely written by her. And she wanted to produce new songs, inspired by the singer she most admired, Ultimo. On Wednesday evening, in Piazza Boiardo, in the center of Scandiano, the closing party of the campaign in support of the outgoing mayor Matteo Nasciuti was scheduled. However, the event was held on a much smaller scale than initially planned. The mayor himself remembered the girl before a moment of silence. The news of her death quickly reached Porto Tolle, bringing pain and dismay to the family and the community. Mayor Roberto Pizzoli publicly expressed the community’s condolences for the premature and shocking loss of Adele. Her mother Federica is the sister of the tenor Riccardo Zanellato and daughter of Antonio, a well-known sports manager and football coach. Uncle Angelo Zanellato, Antonio’s brother, was a regional councilor and is currently provincial secretary of the Rovigo Democratic Party. Many inhabitants of Polesine knew Adele and her family and are now waiting for news on her funeral. Adr. Ar. © ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
