A 10-year-old girl has been declared in a state of ”brain death”, among the victims of the violent accident which occurred on Wednesday 5 June in La Rochellein Franceand which involved seven children on bicycles and an eighty-year-old behind the wheel of her car. This is what the local prefecture reports, specifying that among the six others injureda 10-year-old boy is still “hospitalized in serious condition” at Poitiers hospital.
Another 9-year-old girl, initially hospitalized in La Rochelle, was instead transferred to the hospital in Potiers, in a state of “observation”. An 11-year-old child hospitalized in La Rochelle in serious conditions “is experiencing a positive evolution in his state of health”, continues the prefecture, adding that another 9-year-old child, “in conditions of relative urgency”, was operated on this morning always in La Rochelle. The other injured were all released from hospital on Wednesday.
