The Asd Free Runners Isernia is back from the good performances on Sunday 2 June, where in San Nicola La Strada participated with the group of great athletes, DIANA Francesco, Di Monaco Vincenzo, Fabio Milano, Giovanni D’Andrea, QUIRICO PierGiorgio, SEGUELLA Emanuele, DEAR Matteo, Romano Armando, Martella Domenico and Pirone Nicola, while CAROSELLA Giampiero participated in the Lanciano Notturna, taking 4th place overall, just a whisker away from third place, significantly improving his 2023 performance. In this week’s sporting perspective, the athletes they are already preparing for two very important events at national level. The Free Runners Isernia company will aim to achieve excellent placings in the top 5 overall with the top athletes, as well as conquer the highest steps of the podium with the Master categories, aiming to win the coveted company ranking, which every year offers a significant bonus. The club also wants to show off at the San Nicandro trophy by competing with renowned clubs from across the national territory, as it already did last February by winning at the Isernia Province trophy, coming 1st overall, despite the numerous clubs that participated.
Rome 9 June European Championships Rome 10 k
But this weekend’s commitments will continue on Sunday morning 9 June, where the Free Runners Isernia will participate with another group in the European 10 km in Rome. A race on an exciting route that will touch the historical points of the eternal city. A large delegation from the Asd Free Runners has chosen not to miss this opportunity, where the athletes will put themselves on display in competition with thousands of athletes from all over the world. The Rome 10K will start at 10.15 am on Sunday 9 June and the route will partly follow that of the half marathon included in the official program of the European Championships (departure set at 9am for the men’s race and 9.30am for the women’s) touching some of the most iconic points of the city: the Altare della Patria in Piazza Venezia, Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza of Spain and Piazza Navona and then returning towards the Imperial Forums.
