Genoa. The Ligurian liqueur Basanotto is once again a winner at the IWSC 2024 (International World Spirits Competition). The label obtained a gold with a score of 98/100 and the mention “extraordinary”, at the oldest and most renowned competition in the sector. A further recognition obtained after the recent gold medal as Best Liqueur in the World in the digestive sector, at the World Drinks Awards 2024.

The Basanotto liqueur from today therefore appears to be the most awarded thanks to the selection of organic, DOP and Slow Food Presidium raw materials, all “made in Liguria”, to its unique and innovative taste, which distinguishes this liqueur “from any other on the market thanks to an aromatic complexity, which allows great versatility both in neat and mixed consumption, for the creation of countless cocktails”.

“We are obviously very proud of this further award, especially for its value and the participation of international brands – writes the company in a press note, through the words of Enrica and Andrea Vacca, Andrea Falzone of Liquoristica Ligure SRL. – We believe that our pride should be the pride of the entire Ligurian territory, which is achieving excellent results in this sector in recent years”
