EDITORIAL BOARD – The ceremony to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic took place yesterday morning at 9.30 in Piazza Garibaldi (Red Square).
To the honors of the Armed Picket of the Navy, the vice mayor presided over the ceremony Federica Porcu and the Deputy Commander of the MM Non-Commissioned Officers School of La Maddalena – Frigate Captain Pasquale Mellonewith the Parish Priest of La Maddalena Don Andrea Domanski who rendered the blessing.
All the Military and Civil Authorities of La Maddalena were present with their ANMI, ANFI representationsthe Garibaldini association and the ANPI
At the end of the Ceremony, the Authorities moved towards Piazza Umberto 1° to pay homage to the monuments of Maggior Leggero and Anita Garibaldi.
The celebrations then continued with the honors for the 142nd anniversary of the death of General Giuseppe Garibaldi at the Caprera museum house.
In the evening at 6.00 pm, Solemnity of the SS. Body and Blood of Jesus, Corpus Christi. With the inter-parish Holy Mass in the square ofSan Vincenzo Institutecelebrated by the parish priest Don Andrea Domanski, the military chaplain Don Bastianino Pirino And Don Domenico Degortes. Followed by the procession with Blessed Sacrament through the streets of the city, escorted byANMI And ANFI of La Maddalena…
