New international recognition for the 501 Altitudo extra virgin olive oil, pure Itrana, from the agricultural company Agresti 1902, which enters the Olympus of agri-food excellence recognized by France.

The Paris Gourmet Medal was in fact awarded to the era of the Pontine company, whose olive groves are located in the most inaccessible territories of the Colline Pontine DOP in the municipalities of Itri and Sonnino, an award given by Avpa, the Agency for the Valorization of Products Agricoli, an organization made up of producers and food and wine experts who aim to contribute to the valorisation of agricultural production and the recognition of excellent producers.

“The one awarded to our extra virgin olive oil is an award that comes from consumers beyond the Alps – explains Francesco Agresti, owner of the agricultural company – and is therefore even more significant. An award that rewards the extraordinary sensorial qualities of the Itrana extra virgin olive oil, one of the most appreciated cultivars in the world. Our extra virgin 501 Altitudo, pure Itrana, is a Slow Food Secular Olives Presidium, marketed in numbered bottles; in the last three years it has won awards not only in Europe, but also in the United States, Japan and the Arabian Peninsula”.
