A large area of the residential neighborhood was isolated: the firefighters intervened promptly
Ardea, 27 May 2024 – It was isolated a large area of the residential neighborhood of New Florida after a huge and persistent gas leak. The fire brigade was called and quickly intervened with specialized personnel due to gas leaks, some even arriving from Naples. The gas leak occurred for a gas tank from a well-known company which due to a leak has infested a large area on via Livorno a few meters from the shopping center on via Sassari at the corner of via Livorno.
The teams that intervened connected a hose to the gas tank located in a villa where the owners were not present and brought the gas hose to the street with a system that once turned on as the gaseous liquid in the tank has burned, emptying it completely. During the operation of ignition and controlled consumption of the gas, the same fire brigade men cooled the equipment and the surrounding area in order to prevent the strong heat released by the controlled flame from creating other problems. Once the operation was concluded, the inhabitants and onlookers who attended complimented the staff on the brilliant operation.
