Pope Francis, Benigni and his monologue, Giorgia Meloni’s daughter

Benigni and the kiss («which is worth a hundred thousand») to the Pope: «Your Holiness, I would like to hug you and dance a tango»

«I send an affectionate greeting to all the children, the sick, the mothers, the fathers, the grandparents, the carers, the cardinals, the important people, the
mayor of Rometo the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, I greeted the important ones… no one is missing… Is there anyone else to greet?”, jokes Roberto Benigni, opening his monologue in St. Peter’s Square and then turning to the Pope: “Your Holiness! But she is here, within reach and heart, I would like to hold her, kiss her, I don’t know how to show her affection, love, I could dance a tango, Argentine like her, here in front of everyone. But before entering, two Swiss guards told me: you can do anything here, only one thing you can’t do, touch the Pope. But since they told me that, I only want to do that”, she adds, smiling. «But I can give him a kiss, what’s the point of kisses if you don’t give them? It’s a kiss that comes from all of them, worth a hundred thousand”, she adds before approaching Francesco and kissing him. And he added: «I’m happy to be here, in the smallest state in the world where there is the most important man in the world. And in the kingdom of God everything is possible.”
