Grace Brown confirms that she has a particular feeling with the Bretagne Ladies Tour: the Australian athlete, who last year had won a stage and achieved the final general classification, today achieved success in the time trial that opened the 2024 edition of the French race.
The 31-year-old from Fdj Suez completed the 18 kilometers of the route designed near Grand-Champ in 25 minutes and 04 seconds at an average speed of 45.08 km/h, “inflicting” a gap of 52″ on her teammate Amber Kraak, second classified. Marie Le Net took the third step of the stage podium and paid 1’00” to the winner while Fdj took care of completing the poker Alessia Vigilia who finished in fourth place, 1’11” behind Grace Brown.
Bretagne Ladies Tour will continue tomorrow with the second stage: Plouigneau / Morlaix of 132 kilometers.
