The reclamation works on the gas network in via Petrarca in Buccinasco will last more than two months (from 27 May to 9 August). During this period, the road and some surrounding streets will remain closed to traffic. “The ban on parking with forced removal on both sides will also be established for all parking spaces in the stretch between the intersection with via Bixio/via Garibaldi and the intersection with via Caravaggio”. These are works and blockades that will affect not only residents but also all those who travel to that area of Buccinasco from neighboring municipalities.
Work in progress
Closures and bans will be a work in progress. An example? According to what was communicated by the Municipality, from 27 May to 12 July (and in any case until the end of the works) in the same stretch between the intersection with via Bixio/via Garibaldi and the intersection with via Caravaggio a transit ban will be established in both traffic directions for all categories of vehicles and bicycles (with the exception of vehicles coming from and going within the property in via Petrarca 20).
Pedestrian circulation guaranteed
Again according to what was made public today, “pedestrian circulation will be guaranteed along the sidewalk on the side of the odd numbered numbers and near the Petrarca nursery school and the Uonpia it will be possible to circulate on foot even in the spaces usually dedicated to parking, in order to make arrival and exit from the facilities easier. However, pedestrians will not be allowed to transit on the sidewalk on the same street side.”
Parking bans
Finally, “from 13 July to 9 August (and in any case until the end of the works) in the stretch between the intersection with via Caravaggio and the intersection with via Nearco, a parking ban will be established with forced removal on both sides for all parking spaces; the ban on transit in both directions for all categories of vehicles and bicycles and the obligation to turn right for vehicles coming from via Caravaggio (in the direction of via Petrarca/via Bixio).
