In a recent note, the Lazio Region announced an extraordinary plan worth over 660 million euros for the recruitment of 9,700 healthcare professionals in the two-year period 2024-2025.
Among the most important investments of the last 20 years, it will concern various professional figures: doctors, nurses, auxiliaries, healthcare technicians and OSS, as well as administrative and accounting figures.
In the two-year period 2024-2025, the workforce of the health services of the Lazio Region will grow by 17%, going from 53,500 employees currently employed to 62,662 professionals by 2025.
Type of contracts offered
Of the total 9700 hires, the majority will involve permanent contracts, approximately 8158 units. In fact, 6,843 new entries and 1,541 stabilizations have been authorized for 2024. on the occasion of the Jubilee of 2025, another 1,315 hires will be added.
The aim of the Lazio Region’s hiring plan is in fact, in addition to reducing waiting lists, which is always valid, to meet the extraordinary needs of the 2025 Jubilee, which will bring millions of faithful to the Region.
