For reasons still being ascertained by investigators, a gas cylinder “exploded” in the home of an elderly 73-year-old LG gentleman. The flames burned down his home. THEThe citizen originally from L’Aquila but who has long lived on the banks of the Ionian Sea, miraculously managed to abandon his home, now in the throes of flames and save himself, and also have the courage, not taken for granted in moments of confusion like these, to alert the emergency services. In a residential complex where fear began to rise, with people abandoning their villas to rush out into the street, into the open air, with the fear that at any moment the cylinder could explode and cause the end of the world. A scenario that did not occur, considering the timely arrival of the Fire Brigade of the Castrovillari Detachment, who without wasting a single moment, risking their own lives, began to fight and put out the flames, and then entered the house, grabbed the LPG cylinder and take it outside.
