Today morning, Monday May, 20th, a BMW X3 it’s a Fiat Panda they collided in via Turin, to Giaveno.
According to initial reconstructions, the BMW X3, driven by a middle-aged man with his wife and son on board, was traveling in the direction of the city center. For reasons still being investigated by the local policethe vehicle lost control, tore down two barriers on the roadside and knocked down a pole, before impacting against a Fiat Panda which was coming from the opposite direction and was turning left. The BMW’s race ended a few meters ahead.
The intervention of the officials was immediate rescued. The two elderly people on board the Panda were transported by ambulance to Rivoli hospital. Their conditions, although serious, do not appear to be life-threatening. The family in the BMW, fortunately, did not suffer serious injuries, but were still subjected to medical checks as a precaution.
There local police Of Giaveno has launched an investigation to clarify the causes of the accident. At the moment, no hypothesis is ruled out, including that of the driver of the BMW becoming ill or of a mechanical failure.
