Eighth among Italians, 79th position in the World Young University Rankings 2024 ‘Times Higher Education’

The Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome enters the top ten of young Italian universities under 50 years old. The Roman university is among the best universities in the world according to the World University Rankings, curated by the British organization ‘Times Higher Education’, specialized in the evaluation of international university systems around the world. The international ranking places Ucbm as the eighth Italian university with a 79th place overall out of the 1,171 universities that submitted the application all over the world.

The Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome was founded in 1993 and is based in a modern university campus immersed in the Decima Malafede Regional Nature Reserve in Rome with over 17 thousand dedicated square meters and an innovative Simulation center unique in Central-Southern Italy.

It offers 16 degree courses in the 3 departmental faculties of Medicine and Surgery, Engineering, Sciences and Technologies for Sustainable Development and One Health. In addition to Medicine and Surgery (in Italian in English and the ‘Medtech’ course for the doctor-engineer of tomorrow) and other health area courses, the master’s degree courses in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics are being accredited by the Mur in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences. The offer is completed by the innovative courses in Chemical Engineering for sustainable development, Food Science and Technology and Food Design, Food Science and Human Nutrition and Intelligent Systems Engineering dedicated to the topics of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

The over 130 courses and masters organized by the Ucbm Academy allow new graduates and professionals to update their skills with a view to continuous training.
