On Sunday 19 May at 4pm we will talk about social economy and what opportunities and responsibilities Europe foresees for the younger generations. The event is organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Confcooperative Romagna and will take place in room 9 of the Unibo Teaching Hub in Forlì, in via Filippo Corridoni 20, as part of the week of events organized by the European Youth Event (Eye) of Forlì.

The event, entitled “The Action Plan for the Social Economy. Opportunities and responsibilities for young people from Europe”will take place as an informal talk, during which the following will speak and discuss: Giuseppe Guerinispokesperson for the Social Economy Category of the EESC and president of Cecop – Cicopa Europa; Andrea Baldazzini, head of the Aiccon Welfare and Third Sector area; Don Mario DianaCEI representative at Confcooperative; Susanna Alves and Rebeca Cordero Torres Cooperative Europe Office Kara Bobowski; Sebastiano Pepe, president of the Rigenera social cooperative. Guests will be accompanied by Paolo Lombardipresident of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confcooperative Romagna; Andrea Sangiorginational president of the Young Entrepreneurs Confcooperative e Mirca Renzettivice-president of Confcooperative Romagna, who will coordinate the meeting.

“We decided to join the week of insights organized by Eye Forlì because it seems like an excellent opportunity to talk about the issues that are closest to our hearts with experts and young people from all over Europe – highlights Paolo Lombardi -. Our event focuses on the theme of the social economy, a possible form of economy that cooperatives, in every sector and economic sector, have always implemented. During the meeting we will listen to multiple voices: those of Guerini and Baldazzini who will give us an international picture of what the social economy is; that of Don Diana which will place the emphasis on ethics and subsidiarity; that of our cooperatives who will bring their examples of social enterprise to the meeting”.
