The words of Milan and Pogacar

“It’s fantastic to get the third stage success even though I feared when I fell behind because of the fans,” says Milan, immediately after the finish. “My teammates guided me perfectly, helping me get back into the group and then position myself to launch the sprint. Simone Consonni was fundamental, shooting from -400 metres. It’s impressive to see how everyone supported me as best I could to the sprint, I’m proud of my team.”

“So far, something has happened in every stage of the Giro. The route was flat, but it was windy and it favored the fans. The Ineos Grenadiers attacked, but I always stayed in front. In their conditions I would have tried to do the same thing Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will be two very important events. I hope to do well”, comments Pogacar.
