Roma Champion: Lazio defeated on penalties

A little later Lazio responds with Schettini, but the number 9 also lacks precision by shooting high over the crossbar. Just three minutes later the best opportunity of the match arrived, Rizzardi ran away behind the defense – perhaps in an offside position – but when he arrived in front of Orlando, his tip just missed the post. At the end of the regulation minutes we go to extra time. In extra time, everything happens, first the Giallorossi find the advantage with Angeletti but then they are joined at the end of the first half by Schettini who scores the equalizer with a header. Extra time that gives emotions but is not enough to elect a winner, we go to penalties. From eleven meters Amato is decisive, neutralizing Massarut and giving him the title.
