Roma Champion: Lazio defeated on penalties

70 unexciting minutes, palpitations that are mainly concentrated in extra time where both teams score but it is the penalty kicks that elect the Rome regional champion. First half of study, the two teams alternate possession of the ball in search of the right spaces to impact the match. Lazio started better especially in terms of managing ball possession but the first opportunity of the match was for the Giallorossi through a free kick scheme: Giannelli freed himself and put it in the middle, Orlando was ready by deflecting for a corner. Tommaso Rocchi’s team responds a little later with a ggreat invention by Schettini who with his heel, with his back to the goal, tries to serve Salvati, Tocci closes. Then on the rebound De Vincenzo shoots but hits badly, wasting a good chance. The first half finale doesn’t offer much emotion and sends the two teams to rest goalless. In the second half of the match Roma started well and seemed to enter the field with a different spirit. The Giallorossi then try with a nice cross from Soares Da Cruz towards the far post, Rotoloni cuts well but arrives a little late. The 3 kicks anyway but, unbalanced, sends it out. A little later Lazio responds with Schettini, but the number 9 also lacks precision by shooting high over the crossbar. Just three minutes later the best opportunity of the match arrived, Rizzardi ran away behind the defense – perhaps in an offside position – but when he arrived in front of Orlando, his tip just missed the post. At the end of the regulation minutes we go to extra time. In extra time, everything happens, first the Giallorossi find the advantage with Angeletti but then they are joined at the end of the first half by Schettini who scores the equalizer with a header. Extra time that gives emotions but is not enough to elect a winner, we go to penalties. From eleven meters Amato is decisive, neutralizing Massarut and giving him the title.
