The mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala presented the golden Ambrogino to Inter this morning at Palazzo Marino. The Milanese football team, present in full and accompanied by the top management who acted in place of president Steven Zhang, was rewarded for winning the twentieth championship, which earned them the second star.
“My compliments go to the management and the whole team not only for the victory of the title, but also for the behavior of the team on the pitch, which has always been in line with the values of the city” – declared Mayor Sala – “ your name is Internazionale and Milan above all wants to be a modern, open and international city: consider that now 21% of residents in Milan are not Italian by origin and now there have been very few Milanese people for two or three generations”.
