At approximately 3.20 this morning, a team from the Lecce Fire Brigade command, Tricase detachment, intervened in Taurisano in via Gramsci to put out a fire involving a Volkswagen brand car, Golf model, owned of GS, born in 1966.
Thanks to the effective intervention of the Fire Brigade, it was possible to avoid further damage to people and property, thus guaranteeing public and private safety.
The causes of the fire are currently under investigation.

At 1.10 am, a team of the Fire Brigade from the Lecce Command, Veglie detachment, intervened in Via Salvatore Quasimodo in the Municipality of Salice Salentino due to a fire involving a Renault brand car, Kadjar model, owned by RA , born in 1972. The fumes produced by the fire slightly damaged the facade of a house located in the immediate vicinity. Shortly afterwards, at 2.15 am, the same Fire Brigade team intervened in the Municipality of Copertino, in Via Lepanto, for a fire involving a Range Rover brand car, Freeland model, owned by FM, born in 1950 .
At 2.50 am, the Fire Brigade of the Gallipoli detachment intervened in Corso Roma, in the same Ionian town, due to a fire involving a Fiat 900 van owned by Mrs. DPF, born in 1982. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire teams Firefighters, further damage to people and property was avoided in all three cases. Currently, investigative activities are underway to determine the causes of the fires.
