“I have always given the electoral things to him, we have done the Science Festival, we have done the Flower Festival, we have given contributions to the churches, I have done the Palace of San Lorenzo… the church of San Lorenzo”. It is a passage from the entrepreneur’s interrogation Aldo Spinelli, under house arrest like the governor of Liguria Giovanni Toti in the investigation by the Genoa Prosecutor’s Office. Spinelli reiterated that he had made “only official” financing and that Toti “did nothing” for the concession of the Bulk Terminal, “because the matter had already been passed through the committee” and “only had to be ratified”.
